Works For Me Wednesday

If you are like me, by the time I put dinner on the table I am full because of all the tasting I have done during preparation. So I have started chewing gum while cooking, so I do not do so much taste tasting and snacking before dinner.




Another tip is if you want to start drinking diet soda but do not like the taste, add a few drops of lemon juice to it. It takes away the after taste and makes it taste more like regular soda.


Hopefully these tips will make you look more like this. It hasn't for me yet, but I can dream.

I understand the reasoning behind switching from reg soda to diet but please....you really will be making the worse choice by doing so. I know sugar is bad for you - but you know what? Your body knows how to handle it - it doesn't know how to handle Aspertame - please research the effects of aspertame on your body before you start drinking/eating it regularly. It really is nasty stuff. Maybe switch from soda to water instead? I didn't intend this to be a rant - just info.

My salivary glands get going when I chew gum so it actually makes me MORE hungry. But what works for me to decrease tasting...brushing my teeth. Like a miracle!

and I love Diet Coke! don't need any tips to get me there!!!

Great idea about the lemon juice...drops. I don't LOVE diet coke but I will drink it.. I love Diet Dr Pepper lol And gum certainly does wonders!!! :)

I should try that gum idea....thanks for sharing. If people don't want to have diet soda because of the chemicals, switch to seltzer. I use that and put a dash of juice in it. I need something sweet instead of just water all the time. But I love sweets so that's just me!
